Gen Z: Ezekiel 37
The vibe of the Lord was on me, and lifted me up in the Spirit, dropping me in a valley full of bones, fr.
He made me stroll around them, and wow, there were tons in the open valley; and, like, they were super dry.
Then He asked me, "Yo, can these bones come back to life?" And I was like, "O Lord God, you know what's up."
Again, He told me, "Prophesy to these bones, and say, 'Yo, dry bones, listen up to the word of the Lord.'"
The Lord God said to these bones, "Bet, I’m gonna make breath enter you, and you’ll be alive."
"I’ll hook you up with sinews, bring flesh on you, cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and you’ll be alive; then you’ll know I’m the Lord."
So I prophesied as I was told, and as I did, there was a noise, like a shake, and the bones came together, piece by piece.
And when I looked, the sinews and flesh showed up, and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them, sus.
Then He told me, "Prophesy to the wind, son of man, and say to the wind, 'The Lord God says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe on these slain, so they can live.'"
So I prophesied as He commanded, and the breath entered them, and they lived, standing up like a lit army.
Then he said to me, "Yo, these bones are the whole squad of Israel: check it, they’re like, ‘Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we’re cut off, no cap.’"
So prophesy and say to them, "Listen up, fam; the Lord God says, ‘I’m about to open your graves and bring you back to the land of Israel, periodt.’"
And you’ll know I’m the Lord when I pop off and open your graves, my people, and bring you up from them.
I’ll put my spirit in you, and you’ll live, and I’ll place you in your own land: then you’ll know I, the Lord, have said it and done it, fr.
The word of the Lord hit me up again, saying,
"Yo, son of man, grab one stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and the crew of Israel,’ then grab another stick and write, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and all the house of Israel.’"
Then join them together into one stick; they’ll become one in your hand, lit.
And when your peeps ask you what’s up with this,
Say to them, "The Lord God says, ‘I’m taking the stick of Joseph, which is in Ephraim’s hand, and the tribes of Israel, and I’ll combine it with Judah’s stick, and they’ll be one in my hand.’"
And the sticks you write on will be in your hand for them to see, no cap.
Yo, God’s like, “Listen up! I'm gonna scoop the kids of Israel from all the vibes they’ve been chillin’ in, and bring ‘em back to their own land. Periodt.”
I’m making them one squad in the mountains of Israel; one king for the whole crew, no more split vibes, all together now.
They won't be messing with idols or any sus stuff anymore; I’m saving them from where they’ve been slippin’ and cleaning them up: they’ll be my peeps, and I’ll be their God, no cap.
David’s my dude, he’s gonna be their king; they’ll have one shepherd and will follow my rules, for real.
They’ll live in the land I gave to Jacob, where their fams have been; they and their kids will chill there forever, and my guy David will be their forever prince.
I’m making a peace deal with them; it’s gonna be forever, and I’ll bless them and set up my spot in the middle of them for all time.
My tabernacle’s gonna be with them; I’ll be their God, and they’ll be my people, fr.
The outsiders will see that I, the Lord, am all about Israel when my spot is right in the middle of them forevermore.
