Gen Z: 1 Chronicles 26
Yo, talking about the squad of the porters: Meshelemiah, son of Kore from the Korhites, is in the mix.
Meshelemiah’s crew is lit: Zechariah the firstborn, Jediael the second, Zebadiah the third, and Jathniel the fourth.
Then there's Elam the fifth, Jehohanan the sixth, and Elioenai the seventh.
Plus, Obed-edom's fam includes Shemaiah the firstborn, Jehozabad the second, Joah the third, and Sacar the fourth, and Nethaneel the fifth.
Don't forget Ammiel the sixth, Issachar the seventh, and Peulthai the eighth; God was blessing them hard.
Shemaiah had sons who were straight-up bosses in their dad's house; they were total warriors.
Shemaiah's sons: Othni, Rephael, Obed, and Elzabad, plus their strong bros, Elihu and Semachiah.
All these dudes from Obed-edom, with their sons and bros, were solid for the grind, 62 strong men in total.
Meshelemiah had a crew of strong men, 18 in total.
Also, Hosah from Merari had sons; Simri was the main guy, even though he wasn't firstborn, his dad made him chief.
Hilkiah the second, Tebaliah the third, Zechariah the fourth: all the fam of Hosah were thirteen, no cap.
Among these were the squads of the porters, even the top dogs, vibing together to serve in the Lord's crib.
They threw lots, big and small, based on the fam they came from, for every gate, periodt.
The lot eastside went to Shelemiah. Then for Zechariah, his son, who was a wise dude, they threw lots again; his lot popped off northside.
To Obed–edom southside; and to his sons, the house of Asuppim, straight up.
To Shuppim and Hosah, the lot hit westside, with the gate Shallecheth, by the way up, ward against ward, fr.
Eastside had six Levites, northside four a day, southside four a day, and towards Asuppim, two and two, lit.
At Parbar westside, four at the causeway, and two at Parbar, no cap.
These are the squads of the porters among the sons of Kore, and the sons of Merari, straight up.
And of the Levites, Ahijah was the boss over the treasures of God's house, and over the treasures of the dedicated stuff, goated.
Yo, the fam of Laadan, like the OGs from Gershon, had this dude named Jehieli poppin’ off.
Jehieli's squad was Zetham and his bro Joel, and they were in charge of all the treasure at the Lord's crib.
You got the Amramites, Izharites, Hebronites, and Uzzielites rollin’ deep.
Shebuel, Gershom's kid, straight up ruled over the treasure game, no cap.
His crew from Eliezer was lit: Rehabiah, Jeshaiah, Joram, Zichri, and Shelomith, all fam.
Shelomith and his crew were in charge of all the dedicated treasures that King David and the big bosses set aside.
They dedicated spoils from battles to keep the Lord's house on fleek.
Samuel the seer, Saul, Abner, and Joab all dedicated stuff, and Shelomith and his crew handled it all, periodt.
The Izharites had Chenaniah and his boys taking care of the biz over Israel, like judges and officers.
The Hebronites, led by Hashabiah and his savage crew of 1,700, were the real deal for the Lord's work on this side of the Jordan, serving the king.
So, Jerijah was the top dog among the Hebronites, fam. In David's 40th year as king, they found some straight-up legends at Jazer of Gilead.
His crew, like 2,700 boss dads, were made leaders by King David over the Reubenites, Gadites, and half the tribe of Manasseh, handling all things God and king stuff.
