Gen Z: Leviticus 23
God hit up Moses, saying,
Tell the fam of Israel, "Yo, about the Lord's feasts, these are the holy get-togethers you gotta hype up."
You got six days to grind, but the seventh day is a chill sabbath—no work, just vibes; it's the Lord’s day everywhere you live.
These are the Lord’s feasts, the holy gatherings you gotta call out when the time's right.
On the fourteenth day of the first month at sundown, it's the Lord's Passover, fr.
Then on the fifteenth day of the same month, it's the feast of unleavened bread for the Lord: for seven days, you gotta munch on unleavened bread, no cap.
First day? Holy gathering time—no work allowed, periodt.
Offer a fire sacrifice to the Lord for seven days; on the seventh day, it's another holy gathering—no work, just chill vibes.
God hit up Moses again, saying,
Tell the fam of Israel, "When you roll into the land I’m giving you and start harvesting, bring a sheaf of your firstfruits to the priest."
He’s gonna wave the sheaf in front of the Lord, so you get accepted, like, the day after the sabbath, the priest’s got this on lock.
On that day, when you wave the sheaf, you gotta bring a perfect lamb as a burnt offering to the Lord, no cap.
And the meat offering? That’s two tenths of fine flour mixed with oil, fire it up for a sweet vibe; also, a drink offering of wine, a quarter hin.
No bread, no roasted corn, no fresh ears until the day you bring an offering to your God: that’s a forever rule for your crew in all your spots.
Count from the day after the sabbath, the day you bring the sheaf of the wave offering; gotta hit seven complete sabbaths.
Then, the day after the seventh sabbath, count fifty days; bring a fresh meat offering to the Lord, fr.
Bring out two wave loaves from your place, two tenths of fine flour; they’re gonna be baked with leaven, firstfruits to the Lord, lit.
Offer with the bread seven perfect lambs, one young bull, and two rams for a burnt offering to the Lord, with their meat and drink offerings, all fire vibes.
Then, sacrifice one goat kid for a sin offering, and two first-year lambs for peace offerings, that’s how we do.
The priest’s gonna wave them with the firstfruits bread as a wave offering before the Lord, along with the two lambs; they’re holy for the priest, periodt.
Yo, on that same day, throw a holy vibe check for yourselves: no work allowed, just chill. This is a forever rule in all your spots, fr.
When you’re harvesting your land, don’t be greedy and clean out the corners. Leave some for the poor and the strangers, 'cause I’m the Lord, no cap.
The Lord hit up Moses, saying,
Tell the Israelites, in the seventh month, first day, it’s a sabbath, a trumpet party, and a holy gathering.
No work on that day: just bring a fire offering to the Lord, periodt.
And the Lord said to Moses again,
On the tenth day of that seventh month, it’s a day for atonement: a holy gathering for you; you gotta reflect and offer a fire offering to the Lord.
No work on that day: it’s all about atonement, to make things right before the Lord, trust.
If anyone doesn’t reflect on that day, they’re getting cut off from the squad.
And if anyone does any work that day, I’m straight-up destroying them from the crew.
No cap, no work allowed, fam. This is a forever rule for all your peeps in every spot.
It's your chill day, vibes only. On the ninth day of the month, from sunset to sunset, you celebrate your rest day.
God hit up Moses, saying,
Tell the squad of Israel, the fifteenth day of the seventh month is the fest of tabernacles for a whole week for the Lord.
First day is a holy meetup: no work, just good vibes.
For seven days, bring those fire offerings to the Lord; on the eighth day, it's a holy gathering too, with more fire offerings. Keep it solemn, no work allowed.
These are the Lord's feasts, which you gotta shout out as holy meetups, offering fire vibes like burnt offerings and drink offerings, all on the right day.
Besides the Lord's chill days, your gifts, your vows, and all your freewill offerings to the Lord.
On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, after you’ve gathered your harvest, throw a feast for the Lord for seven days: first day is a rest day, and eighth day is a rest day too.
On the first day, grab branches of dope trees, palm branches, and willows; then just vibe out before the Lord for seven days.
Y'all gotta vibe for seven days, throwing a feast for the Lord every year. It's a forever thing for your crew: celebrate it in the seventh month, no cap.
You guys chill in booths for seven days; all the Israelites born gotta hang in booths, fr.
So your squad knows that I had the kids of Israel living in booths when I brought them outta Egypt: I’m the Lord your God, periodt.
And Moses told the Israelites all about the Lord’s feasts, pop off!
