Gen Z: Joshua 3
Joshua woke up mad early, and they bounced from Shittim, hitting up Jordan with all the squad, chillin' there before they crossed over.
After three days, the officers were like, “Let’s go,” and rolled through the camp.
They told the people, “When you see the ark of the covenant, and the priests, follow that vibe and go after it.”
Keep a solid space between you and it, like two thousand cubits: don’t get too close, so you know the way to roll, ‘cause you ain’t been here before.
Joshua told the crew, “Get yourselves right, ‘cause tomorrow the Lord’s about to do some wild stuff.”
Joshua said to the priests, “Grab the ark of the covenant and lead the way.” They picked it up and went ahead of the people.
The Lord told Joshua, “Today I’m about to level you up in front of all Israel, so they know I’m with you like I was with Moses.”
You gotta tell the priests with the ark, “When you hit the water of Jordan, just chill there.”
Joshua called out to the Israelites, “Yo, come here and listen to what the Lord your God is saying.”
Joshua said, “You’ll know the living God is with you, and He’s gonna kick out all those Canaanites and the rest of the crew.”
Check it, the ark of the covenant of the Lord of the whole earth is crossing over before you into Jordan.
So get twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one from each tribe.
When the priests carrying the ark step into the Jordan, the waters are gonna stop and pile up.
When the people packed up their tents to cross Jordan, the priests with the ark went first.
As they got to Jordan, the priests dipped their feet in the water (it was overflowing, no cap).
The waters from above stood up like a wall far from Adam, while the ones heading to the sea went dry, and the people crossed right by Jericho.
The priests with the ark stood strong on dry ground in the middle of Jordan, and all the Israelites crossed over like it was nothing.
