Gen Z: Job 18
Then Bildad the Shuhite popped off and said,
How long you gonna keep talking? Just chill, and then we’ll chat.
Why we gotta be seen as animals, like, that’s sus in your eyes?
He’s raging so hard; like, is the earth gonna ditch you? The rock ain't moving for you, fam.
Facts, the wicked's light is gonna go out, and their fire's not gonna glow.
The light's gonna be dim in their crib, and their candle's getting snuffed.
His strength is getting wrecked, and his own advice is gonna ghost him.
He’s stuck in a trap he set for himself, walking straight into a snare.
The trap’s gonna grab him by the heel, and the thief's about to win.
The snare's laid out on the ground, and there’s a trap waiting for him on the path.
Nightmares gonna hit him from all sides, making him bounce.
His strength's gonna be starving, and destruction’s right next to him, no cap.
It’s gonna munch on his strength like a snack: even death’s firstborn is gonna take him down.
His confidence is getting kicked out of his place, bringing him to the king of fears.
It’s gonna chill in his spot because it ain’t his; sulfur’s getting thrown on his home.
His roots are drying up below, and above, his branches are getting clipped.
His memory’s gonna vanish from the earth, and he’ll be nameless in the streets.
He’s getting chased from light into darkness, straight up out of the world.
He won’t have any kids or nephews among his peeps, nor anyone left in his crib.
Those who come after him are gonna be shook by his day, just like those before were scared.
For real, this is the vibe of the wicked, and this is where the one who doesn’t know God ends up.
