Gen Z: James 3
Yo fam, don't let too many of you be the boss, 'cause we gonna get major consequences.
We all mess up in so many ways. If someone can keep it real with their words, they're basically perfect and can control everything.
Check it, we put bits in horses' mouths so they listen to us; we can steer their whole vibe.
Look at ships, right? They’re huge and get tossed by wild winds, but a tiny helm can steer them wherever the captain wants.
The tongue is small but flexes hard. Just think about how a little spark can start a massive fire!
The tongue is like a fire, a whole world of chaos; it messes up our whole vibe and ignites all kinds of drama, straight from the abyss.
Every beast, bird, and sea creature can be tamed by humans, for real.
But no one can tame the tongue; it’s a wild evil, packed with toxic vibes.
We use it to bless God, the Father, but then we throw shade at people made in His image.
From the same mouth come blessings and curses. Fam, this should not be the vibe.
Can a fountain flow sweet water and bitter water at the same time? Nah.
Can a fig tree, fam, grow olives? Or a vine, figs? No fountain gives both salty and fresh water.
Who's the wise one among you? Let them show their good vibes through chill conversations and humble wisdom.
But if you got jealousy and drama in your hearts, don’t flex and lie about the truth.
This wisdom ain't from above; it's earthly, all about the feels, and kinda sus.
Where there’s jealousy and drama, confusion and every bad vibe follow.
But wisdom from above is pure, chill, gentle, and easy to vibe with, packed with mercy and good fruits, no bias, no cap.
And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.
