Gen Z: James 1
James, a servant of God and the Lord Jesus Christ, shoutout to the twelve tribes out there vibin' everywhere.
Yo fam, count it all joy when life throws curveballs at you;
For real, knowing that your faith getting tested is just building up that patience.
But let that patience pop off, so you can be goated and lacking nothing.
If you need wisdom, just ask God, He’s got you and won’t judge; it’s all good, you’ll get it.
But for real, ask in faith, no cap. If you’re wishy-washy, it’s like a wave just tossed around.
Don’t let that dude think he’s gonna get anything from the Lord if he’s doubting.
A double-minded person is just all over the place, fr.
Let the bro who’s struggling flex on the fact that he’s being lifted up:
But the rich? They gotta chill, 'cause like a flower, they’ll fade away.
When the sun pops up, it’s mad hot and makes the grass go dry, flowers drop, and all that pretty stuff fades away; same vibes for rich peeps, they’ll dip too.
Blessed is the dude who can handle temptation; when he gets tested, he’ll snag that crown of life God promised to those who love Him, fr.
No cap, don’t let anyone say when they’re tempted, “It’s God’s fault,” 'cause God ain’t about that evil vibe and doesn’t tempt anyone.
Every dude gets tempted when he’s pulled in by his own cravings and gets lured in.
Once those cravings get real, they bring sin into the mix, and when sin’s all done, it brings death, periodt.
Don’t get it twisted, fam.
Every dope gift and perfect gift is from up above, straight from the Father of lights, who’s always consistent, no shadow play.
He brought us to life with the truth, so we could be like the first harvest of His creations, no cap.
So, fam, let every dude be quick to listen, slow to talk, and chill with the anger vibes.
'Cause human anger doesn’t bring about God’s righteous vibes.
So like, ditch all the bad vibes and drama, and take in the truth with chill energy, 'cause it can save your souls, fr.
But like, don’t just vibe with the word, actually do it, or you’re just fooling yourself, no cap.
If you just listen to the word but don’t act, you’re like a dude checking himself out in the mirror.
He sees himself, bounces, and totally forgets what he even looks like, sus.
But if you check out the perfect freedom law and keep at it, you’re not just a forgetful listener, but a doer, and that dude is gonna be blessed, periodt.
If someone seems all religious but can’t control their mouth, they’re just tricking their own heart, and their faith is straight-up empty.
Real, pure religion in front of God is this: help out the orphans and widows when they’re struggling, and keep yourself clean from the world’s mess.
