Gen Z: Isaiah 31
Yo, woe to those who dip to Egypt for help, flexin' on horses and trustin' chariots 'cause they’re stacked; but they ain’t lookin' to the Holy One of Israel or seekin' the Lord, fr.
But for real, He’s wise and will bring the heat, not takin' back what He said; He’s comin' for the evildoers and those who vibe with wickedness.
Egyptians are just peeps, not God; their horses are just flesh, not spirit. When the Lord flexes, both the helper and the helped are gonna take a fall together, no cap.
The Lord said it like this: Imagine a lion chillin' with his prey, not scared of a bunch of shepherds yellin’. That’s how the Lord of hosts is rollin’ to battle for Mount Zion, periodt.
Like birds flyin', the Lord of hosts is gonna defend Jerusalem; He’ll deliver and keep it safe, no doubt.
Turn back to Him, the one the kids of Israel totally ghosted.
On that day, everyone’s gonna ditch their silver and gold idols they made with their own hands, that’s just sus.
The Assyrian’s gonna fall by a sword that ain't from a strong dude; he’ll be runnin' from the sword, and his young bloods are gonna be shook.
He'll bounce to his stronghold outta fear, and his princes will be scared of the banner, says the Lord, whose fire is lit in Zion, and His furnace is in Jerusalem.
