Gen Z: Isaiah 18
Yo, woe to the land with wings, chillin' beyond the rivers of Ethiopia.
They send out messengers by the sea in lil' boats, like, "Go, fast homies, to that scattered nation, a people wild since day one; they’re all about that struggle, and their land's been wrecked by the rivers!"
All you folks on Earth, peep this: when he raises a flag on the hills and blows that trumpet, you better listen up.
The Lord’s like, “I’m just gonna chill and vibe in my spot, like a dope heat on plants and a cloud of dew when it’s harvest time.”
Before the harvest hits, when the buds are lit and the sour grapes are coming in hot, he’s gonna snip the branches with his sick tools and take 'em down.
They’ll be left for the birds in the mountains and the beasts on the ground; the birds will chill on 'em in summer, and all the beasts will hibernate on them in winter.
In that moment, the peeps will bring gifts to the Lord of hosts from that wild nation, meted out and stepped on, whose land got wrecked by the rivers, all headed to the place where the Lord’s name is, Mount Zion.
