Gen Z: Genesis 33
Jacob looked up and saw Esau rollin' in with 400 homies. He split the kids between Leah, Rachel, and the two handmaids.
He put the handmaids and their kiddos up front, Leah and her crew after, and Rachel and Joseph chillin' in the back.
He went ahead of them and hit the ground seven times, just to flex before his bro.
Esau sprinted to him, hugged him tight, fell on his neck, and gave him a kiss. They were both in their feels, no cap.
Jacob looked up and saw the women and kids, and Esau asked, "Who are these peeps with you?" Jacob said, "Just the kids God blessed me with, fam."
Then the handmaids and their kiddos came up, and they all bowed down, showing respect.
Leah and her kids rolled up next, bowed down too; then Joseph and Rachel came through, and they bowed as well.
Esau asked, "What’s up with all this crew I ran into?" Jacob replied, "Just tryna find favor in your sight, bro."
Esau was like, "I’m good, bro; keep what you got for yourself."
Jacob was all, "Nah, please take my gift; if I found favor in your eyes, it’s like seeing God’s face, and you’re vibin' with me."
Yo, take my blessing, fam. God’s been super chill with me, and I got enough. He really pushed him to take it.
He’s like, “Let’s bounce and I’ll lead the way.”
He told him, “My dude knows the kids are fragile, and I got young animals too. If we push them too hard, they’ll be done for.”
“Please, let my dude go ahead of me. I’ll take it slow for the kids and the cattle until I catch up to you.”
Esau's like, “Let me leave some of my crew with you.” And he replied, “What’s the point? Just let me vibe with you, bro.”
So that day, Esau headed back to Seir.
Jacob rolled to Succoth, built a crib, and set up some booths for his cattle. That’s why it’s called Succoth.
Then Jacob hit up Shalem, a city in Shechem, when he came from Padan–aram; he pitched his tent right by the city.
He copped a piece of land where he set up his tent from the kids of Hamor, Shechem's dad, for a hundred bucks.
He built an altar there and named it El–elohe–Israel.
