Gen Z: Ezekiel 43
Then he took me to the gate, the one that faces east, vibes check.
And boom, the glory of the God of Israel pulled up from the east, sounding like a waterfall, and the earth was lit with His glory.
It matched the vision I saw when I came to wreck the city, kinda like the vision by the river Chebar; I was shook and fell flat.
The Lord's glory came into the crib through the east gate, straight up.
The spirit lifted me and brought me into the inner court; and wow, the Lord's glory filled the place, no cap.
I heard Him talking to me from the house; a dude was standing next to me, rizz on point.
He said, "Yo, Son of man, this is where my throne is, where I’ll chill with the kids of Israel forever, and my holy name ain't gonna be dissed by their mess-ups or their kings' drama."
They set their threshold by mine and their posts by mine, and the wall between us is sus; they defiled my holy name with their wild stuff, so I had to bring the heat.
Now they need to ditch their mess and their kings' drama, keep it far from me, and I’ll vibe with them forever.
You, Son of man, show the house to the house of Israel so they can feel that shame for their wrongs; let them check the blueprint.
If they feel kinda sus about what they did, show them the house layout and all the rules, so they can keep it 100 and follow the vibes.
This is the house rule: the top of the mountain is straight holy vibes. For real, this is the house law.
Here are the altar dimensions: a cubit is a cubit, plus a handbreadth; the base is a cubit, and the border is a span. This is where the altar gets lit.
From the ground to the lower part, it’s two cubits tall, and one cubit wide; from the smaller part to the bigger part, it’s four cubits, and still one cubit wide.
So the altar is four cubits high, and it’s got four horns popping off at the top.
The altar is twelve cubits long and broad, keeping it square all around.
The settle is fourteen cubits long and wide, with a half cubit border; the base is a cubit all around, and the stairs face east.
Then God said to me, "Yo, Son of man, here’s what the Lord says; these are the altar rules for when they make it to offer burnt offerings and sprinkle blood."
You gotta give a young bull to the priests, the Levites from Zadok's crew, who roll up to serve me, says the Lord God, as a sin offering.
Take the blood and put it on the four horns, the four corners, and the border all around: this is how you cleanse and purge it, no cap.
Yo, take that bull for the sin offering and burn it in the spot we picked, outside the sanctuary. No cap.
On day two, bring a perfect goat for that sin offering; clean the altar just like you did with the bull. Vibes.
After you’re done cleaning, offer a flawless young bull and a ram from the flock, both looking fresh.
Bring them before the Lord, and the priests gotta sprinkle salt on them, then it's a burnt offering for the Lord. Bet.
For seven days, prep a goat daily for the sin offering; also bring a young bull and a ram, all flawless. Periodt.
For seven days, they gotta clean the altar and make it pure; they need to get themselves right too. Lit.
Once those days are up, on the eighth day and beyond, the priests will handle your burnt and peace offerings, and I’ll vibe with you, says the Lord God.
