Gen Z: Ezekiel 3
God was like, "Yo, son of man, munch on this scroll and then go spill the tea to Israel."
So I opened my mouth, and it was like, "Time to snack on that scroll."
He told me, "Fill your belly with this scroll I’m giving you." I ate it, and it was straight up honey vibes.
Then he said, "Ayo, go to Israel and drop my words on them."
You ain't sent to some random peeps with sus language; you’re here for Israel.
Not to a bunch of folks with hard-to-understand words. If I sent you to them, they would’ve listened, no cap.
But Israel? They ain't gonna listen to you, 'cause they don't even listen to me. They're all hardheaded and savage.
But, fam, I made your face tough against theirs, and your forehead is solid too.
I made your forehead harder than flint, so don’t sweat their looks, even if they’re a rebellious crew.
And God said, "Yo, son of man, take all my words to heart and really listen up."
Ayo, go hit up the peeps in captivity, tell your squad what's good, and drop this message from the Lord, whether they vibe with it or not.
Then the spirit lifted me, and I heard a major rush behind me, like, "Blessed be the glory of the Lord from His spot."
I also caught the sound of the wings of the living creatures vibing with each other, plus the wheels making a sick noise, all rushing together.
So the spirit took me up, and I felt all kinds of salty, but the Lord's hand was strong on me, no cap.
I rolled up to the captives at Tel–abib by the Chebar river, and just sat there with them, totally shook for seven days.
After seven days, the word of the Lord hit me up, saying,
Yo, son of man, you’re a watchman for Israel, so listen up to my words and give them the heads up from me.
When I tell the wicked they’re gonna die and you don’t warn them, that wicked dude's blood is on you, no cap.
But if you warn the wicked and they still don't change their ways, they’ll die in their sin, but you saved your own soul, periodt.
Again, if a righteous dude turns from his goodness and messes up, and I throw a stumbling block in his way, he’s gonna die; if you didn’t warn him, his blood is on you.
But if you give a heads up to the good peeps so they don’t mess up, and they actually listen, they’ll live for real, no cap; you just saved your own soul too.
Then the Lord showed up and was like, "Yo, get up and head to the plain, I wanna chat."
So I bounced to the plain and saw the Lord’s glory there, just like when I peeped it by the river Chebar; I was shook and fell flat.
Then the spirit vibed into me, got me standing up, and said, "Bet, go chill in your house."
But listen up, fam, they’re gonna put you in chains and you won’t be able to roll with them.
I’ll make it so you can’t even talk, you’ll be mute, and won’t be able to call them out ‘cause they’re wildin’.
But when I talk to you, I’ll unlock your mouth, and you’ll say, "This is what the Lord says; if you wanna hear, hear it; if you wanna ignore, ignore it; they’re just a rebellious crew."
