Gen Z: Ezekiel 24
Yo, in the ninth year, tenth month, and tenth day, God hit me up, saying,
"Yo, son of man, jot down the name of today: the king of Babylon is straight up flexing on Jerusalem today."
"Drop a parable for the rebellious crew, and tell them, 'This is what the Lord God says: Get a pot, put it on the fire, and pour some water in there.'"
"Gather all the good stuff, like the thigh and shoulder; fill it with the choice bones, fam."
"Snag the best from the flock, burn the bones under it, make it boil hard, and let those bones cook in there."
"So, the Lord God says: Major L for the bloody city, the pot with all that scum still in it! Bring it out piece by piece; don't let any of it slide."
"Her blood's all up in the mix; she put it on a rock, didn’t throw it on the ground to cover it up."
"This is gonna stir up some serious rage; I put her blood on that rock so it wouldn’t be hidden."
"So the Lord God says: Major L for the bloody city! I'm about to make the fire pile huge."
"Stack the wood, light it up, burn the flesh, season it right, and let those bones get crispy."
Just toss it empty on the coals, so the brass gets hot and all the gross stuff melts away, no cap.
She’s been grinding on lies, and her major ick didn’t go away; her scum's staying in the fire, fr.
Your filth is just sus: I tried to clean you up, but you’re still a mess; you won’t be cleaned till my fury chills out.
I, the Lord, said it: it’s gonna happen, and I won’t back down or feel bad; you’ll be judged based on your vibes, says the Lord God.
Then the Lord hit me up, saying,
Yo, son of man, I’m taking away something you really want, and you can’t cry or weep, periodt.
Chill out, don’t cry or mourn for the dead; tie your head up, put on your kicks, and don’t cover your lips or eat their food.
So I told the people in the morning, and then my wife passed that evening; I did what I was told in the morning.
The people asked me, "Why are you doing this? What’s the tea?"
I told them, "The word of the Lord came to me, saying,"
Yo, Israel fam, God’s like, “Listen up! I’m about to mess with my sanctuary, the ultimate flex of your strength, the stuff you really vibe with, and your kids you left behind are gonna catch the sword, no cap.”
You gotta do what I did: don’t cover your lips or munch on that bread from others, fr.
You’ll have your tires on your heads and kicks on your feet; no mourning or crying, just feeling the weight of your wrongs and vibing with each other.
Ezekiel’s your sign: do what he did, and when it pops off, you’ll know I’m the Lord, periodt.
Also, fam, when I take away their strength, their glory, what they desire, and their kids, it’s gonna hit different.
The one who escapes that day will come to you so you can hear what's up with your own ears.
That day, your mouth will be open to the one who made it out, you’ll speak, and no more being mute; you’ll be a sign for them, and they’ll know I’m the Lord.
