Gen Z: Exodus 24
God told Moses, "Yo, come up to the Lord with Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy of the squad from Israel; let’s vibe from a distance."
Only Moses can roll up close to the Lord; the rest can’t get too near, and the people better chill down here.
Moses came back and dropped all the deets from the Lord, and everyone was like, "We’re down for all that."
Moses wrote down everything the Lord said, woke up early, built an altar under the hill, and set up twelve pillars for each tribe of Israel.
He sent some young guns from Israel to make burnt offerings and peace offerings of oxen to the Lord.
Moses took half the blood, put it in bowls, and sprinkled the other half on the altar, no cap.
He grabbed the book of the covenant and read it to the crowd, and they all said, "We’ll do everything the Lord said and be loyal."
Moses sprinkled the blood on the people and said, "Check it out, this is the blood of the covenant the Lord made with you about all these words."
Then Moses, Aaron, Nadab, Abihu, and seventy elders of Israel went up.
They saw the God of Israel, and under His feet was like a dope sapphire pavement, clear as the sky.
He didn’t lay a hand on the nobles of Israel; they saw God and ate and drank, straight chillin’.
The Lord told Moses, "Come up to the mountain and hang out; I’ll give you stone tablets, laws, and commandments I wrote so you can teach them."
Moses got up with his homie Joshua and went up the mountain of God.
He told the elders, "Stay here until we get back; Aaron and Hur are with you; if you need anything, hit them up."
Moses went up the mountain, and a cloud covered it, keeping it mysterious.
The glory of the Lord was chilling on Mount Sinai, and the cloud hung out for six days; on the seventh day, He called out to Moses from the cloud.
The sight of the Lord’s glory was like a fire burning on top of the mountain in the eyes of the Israelites, totally wild.
Moses went into the cloud and climbed the mountain; he was up there for forty days and nights, no cap.
