Gen Z: Deuteronomy 2
So we dipped and hit the wild vibes by the Red Sea, just like the Lord said, and we circled Mount Seir for a hot minute.
And the Lord was like,
Y’all been around this mountain long enough, time to head north, no cap.
Tell the squad, "You’re gonna roll through your fam, the kids of Esau chillin' in Seir; they gonna be shook, so keep it 100."
Don’t mess with them; I ain’t giving you even a foot of their land, 'cause I handed Mount Seir to Esau, periodt.
You can cop food from them for cash, so you can eat; and you can also buy water from them for cash, so you can drink, fr.
The Lord your God has blessed you in all your grind: He knows you been trekking through this wild for forty years; you ain’t missed a thing, no cap.
When we rolled past our fam, the kids of Esau in Seir, through the plain from Elath and Ezion-gaber, we switched it up and went through the wild vibes of Moab.
And the Lord told me, "Don’t stress the Moabites, don’t throw down with them; I ain’t giving you their land for keeps, 'cause I gave Ar to the kids of Lot for a spot."
The Emims were living there back in the day, a big squad, mad tall, just like the Anakims;
They were like big chillers, the Anakims; but the Moabites called them Emims, no cap.
The Horims used to vibe in Seir, but then Esau's fam took over after they got wrecked, just like Israel did with their land, periodt.
I was like, "Rise up, fam, let's cross the brook Zered," and we bounced over it, fr.
We came from Kadesh-barnea to the brook Zered, and it took a solid thirty-eight years; all the warriors got wiped out, just as the Lord said, savage.
For real, the Lord's hand was against them, making sure they got wrecked from the crew until they were gone.
So it happened that all the warriors were totally gone and dead from the people, no cap.
Then the Lord hit me up, saying,
"You gotta pass through Ar, the Moab coast, today."
And when you get close to the Ammonites, don't stress them or get involved; I ain't giving you their land, 'cause I gave it to Lot's fam instead, bet.
(That place was also known for giants: giants were chilling there back in the day, and the Ammonites called them Zamzummims, fr.)
A crew mad tall, like the Anakims; but the Lord was like, "Nah," and wiped them out, so they took over and chilled there instead.
Just like what He did to Esau’s fam in Seir when He wrecked the Horims; they took over and settled there, still vibin' today.
The Avims in Hazerim got wrecked by the Caphtorims from Caphtor, and they moved in and took over.
Yo, get up, make your move, and cross the river Arnon: I’ve got Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, on lock, so go claim his land and pop off in battle.
Today, I’m about to make all the nations under the sky feel your rizz and fear you when they hear about you, and they’ll be shook and stressed.
I sent some peeps from the wilderness of Kedemoth to Sihon, king of Heshbon, with a chill message, saying,
Let me cruise through your land: I’ll stick to the main road, no detours left or right.
You gotta sell me food for cash so I can eat, and give me water for cash so I can drink: I’m just trying to walk through.
Just like Esau’s crew in Seir and the Moabites in Ar did for me; until I cross the Jordan into the land the Lord our God is giving us.
But Sihon, king of Heshbon, was like, "Nah fam," 'cause the Lord hardened his vibe and made him stubborn, so he’d end up in your hands, like it’s clear today.
Yo, God was like, "Check it, I’m giving you Sihon and his whole land. Go ahead and claim it, it's yours now."
Then Sihon rolled up on us with his crew, ready to throw down at Jahaz.
But our God totally had our backs, so we took him out, along with his fam and all his peeps.
We wiped out all his cities, no cap, left no one standing, not the dudes, the ladies, or the kiddos.
We only snagged the cattle and all the loot from the cities we conquered.
From Aroer by the river of Arnon to Gilead, no city could hang with us; God gave us the win.
But we didn’t mess with the kids of Ammon, the Jabbok river, or any of the mountain towns that God told us to skip.
