Gen Z: Deuteronomy 10
At that time, the Lord was like, "Chop two stone tablets like the first ones, and come vibe with me on the mountain, and build an ark outta wood, fr."
"I’m gonna write on those tablets the same words from the first ones you broke, and you’ll stash them in the ark, no cap."
So I made an ark from shittim wood, carved two stone tablets like the first, and went up the mountain, holding the tablets, lit.
He wrote on the tablets, just like before, the ten commandments, which the Lord dropped on you in the fire during the assembly, and the Lord gave them to me, periodt.
I turned around, came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark I made; and there they chill, as the Lord told me to do, no cap.
The kids of Israel journeyed from Beeroth of Jaakan's crew to Mosera; that’s where Aaron passed and got buried, and Eleazar, his son, took over the priest gig.
Then they rolled to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbath, a land with mad rivers, fr.
At that time, the Lord set apart the Levi tribe to carry the ark of the covenant, to stand before Him and serve, and to bless in His name, still to this day.
So Levi doesn’t get land or inheritance with his fam; the Lord is his inheritance, just like He promised, periodt.
I chilled on the mountain for forty days and nights, just like last time; the Lord listened to me again, and He wasn’t gonna wipe you out, no cap.
The Lord said to me, "Get up, take your journey before the people, so they can go in and claim the land I promised their ancestors."
And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God want from you? Just to respect Him, walk in His ways, love Him, and serve Him with all your heart and soul, fr.
Keep the Lord's commandments and statutes I’m dropping on you today for your own good, no cap.
Check it, the heavens and all the heavens belong to the Lord your God, and the earth too, with everything in it, vibes.
The Lord was all about your ancestors, loving them, and He chose their descendants, you, above all people, just like today, periodt.
So, cut away the stubbornness from your heart and stop being so stiff-necked, bet.
Your God is the God of gods, the Lord of lords, a great and mighty God who doesn’t play favorites or take bribes, fr.
He brings justice for the fatherless and widow and loves the stranger, providing them food and clothes, no cap.
So love the stranger, because you were strangers in Egypt, periodt.
Fear the Lord your God; serve Him, stick close to Him, and swear by His name, lit.
He is your hype, your God, who has done these epic and scary things that your eyes have seen, fr.
Your ancestors went down to Egypt with seventy people; now the Lord your God has made you as numerous as the stars in the sky, goated.
