1 Corinthians 15

Gen Z: 1 Corinthians 15

1Yo fam, I’m here to spill the tea on the gospel I preached to you, the one you vibed with and stand strong in;

2This is how you get saved, just gotta keep it in your mind what I told you, unless you believed for no reason, no cap.

3I dropped the ultimate truth first: Christ died for our sins, all according to the holy vibes.

4He got buried, then rose up on the third day, just like the scriptures said, lit!

5He showed up to Cephas first, then to the twelve squad.

6After that, he flexed on over five hundred peeps at once; most are still here, but some are taking a nap, fr.

7Then he popped up to James, and to all the apostles, no lie.

8And last but not least, he came through for me too, like I was born late to the party.

9I’m the least of the apostles, not even worthy to be called one, 'cause I was out here persecuting the church, savage.

10But thanks to God’s grace, I’m here doing me: his grace wasn’t wasted on me; I hustled harder than everyone, but it was really God's grace with me, periodt.

11So whether it's me or the squad, we preach, and y’all vibin' with it.

12But like, if we’re saying Christ rose from the dead, why are some of y’all acting like there’s no resurrection?

13For real, if there’s no resurrection, then Christ didn’t rise, no cap.

14And if Christ ain't risen, then our preaching is just sus, and your faith? Totally sus too.

15Yup, we’d be fake witnesses of God 'cause we said He raised Christ, but if the dead don’t rise, that’s a no-go.

16If the dead don’t rise, then Christ ain’t raised, fr.

17And if Christ ain’t raised, your faith is sus; you’re still in your sins.

18Then all those who fell asleep in Christ? They straight up perished.

19If our hope in Christ is just for this life, we’re the most miserable peeps out here.

20But for real, Christ is risen from the dead, the ultimate firstfruits of those who slept.

21So like, death came through one dude, but another dude brought back life. No cap.

22Just like Adam got everyone to bite the dust, Christ is here to bring us all back to life. Periodt.

23But everyone’s got their own vibe: Christ is the first drop, then everyone who’s with him when he shows up.

24Then it’s game over, when he hands the kingdom back to God, and puts all the haters in check.

25He’s gotta be the boss until he’s got all his enemies under control.

26The final foe to be taken out? Death itself.

27He’s got everything under his feet, but when it’s said that everything’s under him, it’s clear he’s the exception.

28And when everything’s chillin’ under him, the Son’s gotta submit to the one who put everything under him, so God can be the ultimate vibe.

29Otherwise, what’s the point of getting baptized for the dead if they’re not coming back? Like, why even do that?

30And why are we risking it all every hour?

31No cap, I’m vibing with your joy in Christ Jesus, but I’m out here dying daily, fr.

32If I’m out here fighting wild animals in Ephesus, what’s the point if the dead don’t rise? Let’s just eat and drink; tomorrow we vibe out.

33Don’t be sus: bad vibes mess up good manners, periodt.

34Wake up to righteousness and stop sinning; some peeps don’t even know God, and that’s kinda shameful, no cap.

35But some dude’s gonna ask, “How do the dead get raised? What’s the body like?”

36Bro, you’re wild: what you plant doesn’t come to life unless it dies first.

37And what you plant isn’t the body that’s gonna be, just a bare seed, like wheat or something else.

38But God gives it a body that’s lit, however He wants, and each seed gets its own body, no cap.

39Not all flesh is the same: humans got one vibe, beasts got another, fish are different, and birds got their own thing going on.

40There are heavenly bodies and earthly bodies, but the glory of the heavenly is one vibe, and the glory of the earthly is another.

41The sun's got its own glow, the moon's vibin' different, and the stars? Each one’s lit in its own way.

42Same vibe with the resurrection. It’s like, buried in the messy stuff; but then it pops off in pure form.

43Sown in lowkey shame, raised in glory; sown weak, but raised with mad power.

44Sown as a regular body; raised as a spiritual flex. Natural bodies exist, and so do spiritual ones, no cap.

45It’s written, first Adam was a living soul; last Adam? Straight up a life-giving spirit.

46But for real, the spiritual ain't first, natural comes first; then the spiritual shows up.

47First dude is from the ground, all earthy; second dude? He’s the Lord, straight from heaven.

48As the earthy vibes, so do the earthy folks; and as the heavenly is, so are the heavenly peeps.

49We’ve rocked the earthy look, so we’re gonna flex the heavenly image too.

50Yo, hear me out, fam: flesh and blood can’t roll into God’s kingdom; corruption ain’t getting that incorruption.

51Yo, check it, I’m about to drop a mystery; not everyone’s gonna nap, but we’re all getting a glow-up, fr.

52In a flash, like blink and you miss it, at the final trump: the horn's gonna blast, and the peeps who passed will rise up unbothered, and we’ll get that upgrade.

53This old, worn-out vibe gotta switch to something fresh, and this mortal life gotta level up to forever.

54So when this old vibe's got the fresh upgrade, and this mortal's rocking immortality, then it’s gonna be lit when we say, Death is totally owned by victory.

55Yo death, where’s your sting? Yo grave, where’s your win?

56The sting of death is straight-up sin; and the power of sin is the law, no cap.

57But big ups to God, who gives us the win through our homie, Jesus Christ.

58So, fam, stay strong, unshakeable, always popping off in the Lord’s work, 'cause you know your grind ain't in vain, periodt.

KJV: 1 Corinthians 15

1Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;

2By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.

3For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;

4And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

5And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve:

6After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep.

7After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles.

8And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.

9For I am the least of the apostles, that am not meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

10But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.

11Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.

12Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?

13But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

14And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

15Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.

16For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:

17And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

18Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished.

19If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

20But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.

21For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.

22For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.

23But every man in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; afterward they that are Christ’s at his coming.

24Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to God, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

25For he must reign, till he hath put all enemies under his feet.

26The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

27For he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under him, it is manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him.

28And when all things shall be subdued unto him, then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him that put all things under him, that God may be all in all.

29Else what shall they do which are baptized for the dead, if the dead rise not at all? why are they then baptized for the dead?

30And why stand we in jeopardy every hour?

31I protest by your rejoicing which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord, I die daily.

32If after the manner of men I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

33Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.

34Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame.

35But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

36Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die:

37And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other grain:

38But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body.

39All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds.

40There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another.

41There is one glory of the sun, and another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.

42So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:

43It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

44It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

45And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

46Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.

47The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven.

48As is the earthy, such are they also that are earthy: and as is the heavenly, such are they also that are heavenly.

49And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall also bear the image of the heavenly.

50Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption.

51Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

52In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

53For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

54So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.

55O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

56The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

57But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

58Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.
