Gen Z: Zechariah 10
Ask the Lord for that rain during the late season; He’ll send some lit clouds and shower everyone with blessings, making the grass pop off.
The idols are just chatting nonsense, and the diviners are straight up lying, giving false dreams; they’re just vibing in vain, so they roll out like a flock, feeling all sus without a shepherd.
I was mad at the shepherds and dealt with the goats; the Lord checked in on His crew, the house of Judah, making them like a goated horse in battle.
From Him came the cornerstone, the nail, the battle bow, and every oppressor all together, no cap.
They’ll be like strong warriors, crushing their enemies in the streets during battle; they’ll fight hard ‘cause the Lord’s got their back, and the riders on horses will be shook.
I’ll boost the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph, bringing them back to their spot; I’m all about that mercy: they’ll vibe like I never kicked them to the curb, ‘cause I’m their Lord and I hear them.
Ephraim will flex like a mighty dude, and their hearts will be lit like they just drank some good wine; their kids will see it and be hyped; their hearts will be all about the Lord.
I’ll call for them and gather them up; I’ve redeemed them, and they’ll grow like they’ve always done.
I’ll plant them among the people; they’ll remember me from far away and live with their kids, making a comeback.
I’ll bring them back from Egypt and gather them from Assyria; I’ll take them to Gilead and Lebanon, and they’ll be so blessed, there won’t be enough room for them.
He’ll roll through the sea with struggles, hitting the waves hard, and all the river’s depths will dry up; the pride of Assyria will be taken down, and Egypt’s power will fade away.
I’ll give them strength in the Lord; they’ll stroll around in His name, says the Lord.
