Gen Z: Psalms 94
Yo, Lord God, the one who’s all about that vengeance; show up and flex on ‘em.
Rise up, Judge of the earth: give some justice to the proud, fr.
Lord, how long will the wicked be thriving? This is sus.
For real, how long will they be talking trash? All these bad vibes are wild.
They’re breaking your people, Lord, and messing with your crew.
They’re taking out the widows and the strangers, and straight-up hurting the orphans.
And they’re like, “God ain’t watching,” but that’s hella wrong.
Get it together, you clueless peeps: when will you level up?
The one who made ears, you think He can’t hear? The one who formed eyes, you think He can’t see?
The one who disciplines the nations, you think He won’t set things straight? He’s got the knowledge, no cap.
The Lord knows what’s on our minds, and it’s all just empty vibes.
Blessed is the dude you correct, Lord, and teach from your laws; that’s lit.
So you can give him chill time from tough days, until the wicked get their comeuppance.
For real, the Lord won’t ditch His people or forget His squad.
But justice will come back to what’s right: all the real ones will follow it.
Who’s gonna step up for me against the bad guys? Who’s got my back against the shady?
If the Lord wasn’t my ride or die, I’d be lost in silence, fr.
When I said, “I’m slipping,” your mercy, Lord, kept me steady.
In all my thoughts, your comforts are straight-up vibing with my soul.
Can the throne of wickedness chill with you, making up laws for chaos?
They’re teaming up against the righteous and calling out the innocent; that’s savage.
But the Lord is my shield; my God is my solid ground.
He’ll bring their own bad vibes back to them and cut them off; our God’s got this.
