Gen Z: Psalms 5
Yo, Lord, listen up to my words and vibe with my thoughts.
Hear my cry, my King and God; I'm praying to you, no cap.
You'll hear my voice in the morning, Lord; I'm sending my prayers your way and looking up.
You ain't about that wickedness life; evil can't chill with you.
The foolish can't stand in your presence; you lowkey hate all the shady peeps.
You'll take out those who spread lies; the Lord's not down with the bloody and deceitful.
But me? I'm rolling into your house, all about your mercy, and I'm gonna worship in your holy space.
Lead me, Lord, in your rizz because of my haters; make your path clear in front of me.
They ain't real; their words are sus, and their insides are wicked; their throats are like open graves, just straight up flattery.
Take them down, God; let them crash by their own plans; kick them out for all their mess-ups, 'cause they’ve turned against you.
But all who trust in you should vibe and shout for joy, 'cause you got their back; those who love your name should be lit in you.
You, Lord, bless the righteous; you surround them with favor like a shield.
