Gen Z: Psalms 27
The Lord is my vibe and my savior; who even cares? The Lord is my strength; who’s got me shook?
When my haters rolled up to try and take me down, they tripped and fell, no cap.
Even if a squad rolls up against me, I ain’t scared: even if war pops off, I’m still confident, fr.
One thing I’m after from the Lord, I’m chasing it hard; I wanna chill in His house forever and see His beauty, periodt.
In tough times, He’s got my back in His safe space; in His secret spot, He’s hiding me, setting me up on solid ground.
Now my head’s up high above my enemies; I’m gonna drop joy vibes in His house and sing praises to the Lord, it’s lit.
Yo, Lord, when I’m crying out, hear me: show me mercy and hit me back.
When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart was like, “Bet, I’m all in.”
Don’t hide Your face from me; don’t ghost me in anger: You’ve always been my help; don’t dip on me, O God of my salvation.
If my fam bounces on me, the Lord’s gonna scoop me up.
Teach me Your ways, Lord, and lead me on a straight path, ‘cause of my enemies.
Don’t hand me over to my enemies’ plans: fake friends are coming at me, and they’re being straight-up savage.
I would’ve been done for if I didn’t believe I’d see the Lord’s goodness while I’m alive.
Just chill on the Lord: be brave, and He’ll boost your heart: wait, I’m saying it again, chill on the Lord.
