Psalms 130

Gen Z: Psalms 130

1Outta the deep, I’m crying to you, Lord.

2Yo Lord, hear me out: keep your ears open for my prayers, fr.

3If you, Lord, kept track of our mess-ups, who could vibe with you?

4But you’re all about forgiveness, and that’s why we respect you, periodt.

5I’m waiting on the Lord, my soul’s just chilling, and I’m hoping in his word.

6My soul’s on standby for the Lord more than early risers waiting for the sunrise, no cap.

7Let Israel put their hope in the Lord: He’s got mad mercy and redemption on deck.

8And he’s gonna redeem Israel from all their mess, no doubt.

KJV: Psalms 130

1Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O Lord.

2Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3If thou, Lord, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

4But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

5I wait for the Lord, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6My soul waiteth for the Lord more than they that watch for the morning: I say, more than they that watch for the morning.

7Let Israel hope in the Lord: for with the Lord there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
