Psalms 127

Gen Z: Psalms 127

1If the Lord ain't building the house, all that grind is just sus; if the Lord's not watching the city, the guard's just wasting time, fr.

2No cap, it's pointless to wake up early and stay up late just to stress; God gives his faves that sweet sleep, periodt.

3For real, kids are a major flex from the Lord; the fam is his ultimate prize.

4Just like arrows in a strong dude's hands, kids are the real deal for the young.

5Dude's living the dream if his quiver's stacked with them; they won't be embarrassed, they'll pop off against the haters at the gate.

KJV: Psalms 127

1Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

2It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

3Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

4As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.

5Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate.
