Gen Z: Numbers 10
Yo, the Lord hit up Moses, saying,
Make two silver trumpets, like one solid piece, so you can call the squad and get the camps movin'.
When you blow those trumpets, everyone’s gotta gather at the tabernacle door, no cap.
If you only blow one trumpet, the heads of the thousands in Israel will roll up to you.
When you blow that alarm, the camps chillin' on the east gotta bounce.
Blow that alarm again, and the south side camps will start their journey; they gotta sound off for their trips.
But when it's time to gather the crew, just blow, don’t sound the alarm, periodt.
Aaron’s sons, the priests, will blow the trumpets; this is a forever vibe for your fam.
If you go to war in your land against your oppressors, blow that alarm with the trumpets, and God will remember you and save you from your foes.
Also, on your happy days, solemn occasions, and the start of your months, blow those trumpets over your offerings; it’s a memorial before your God: I’m the Lord your God.
So, on the 20th day of the second month, year two, the cloud was like, "I'm out," from the tabernacle. Major vibes.
The Israelites bounced from the Sinai wilderness, and the cloud was chillin’ in the Paran wilderness.
They kicked off their journey just like God told Moses to do. No cap.
First up was the Judah camp squad, led by Nahshon, son of Amminadab. Goated.
Nethaneel, son of Zuar, was running the Issachar tribe's crew.
Eliab, son of Helon, was in charge of the Zebulun tribe's squad.
They packed up the tabernacle, and Gershon and Merari's fams were like, "Let’s roll!"
Reuben's camp set off with their crew, led by Elizur, son of Shedeur.
Shelumiel, son of Zurishaddai, was leading the Simeon tribe's squad.
Eliasaph, son of Deuel, was running the Gad tribe's whole vibe.
The Kohathites dipped, carrying the sanctuary, while the others set up the tabernacle when they rolled in.
The Ephraim squad pulled up with their crew, and Elishama was leading the vibes.
Gamaliel was the head of the Manasseh tribe, just chillin' and keeping it real.
Abidan was running the Benjamin tribe, holding it down like a boss.
The Dan crew rolled out last, with Ahiezer leading the way, keeping it savage.
Pagiel was the boss of the Asher tribe, making sure everything was lit.
Ahira was running the Naphtali tribe, vibing with the squad.
This is how the Israel crew moved out, all organized and ready to pop off.
Moses hit up Hobab, saying, “Yo, we’re heading to the place God promised us, come with us and we’ll treat you right, for real.”
Hobab was like, “Nah, I’m good; I’m heading back to my peeps.”
He was like, "Don’t bounce on us, fam; you know how we roll in the wild, and you’re our eyes out here."
If you roll with us, just know whatever good vibes the Lord sends our way, we’ll share that love with you too.
They dipped from the Lord’s mountain for three days, and the ark was leading the way, scouting for a chill spot.
The Lord’s cloud was their vibe check during the day when they peaced out from the camp.
When the ark moved out, Moses was like, "Yo, Lord, rise up and scatter the haters; make them bounce!"
And when it chilled, he said, "Come back, Lord, to all the thousands of Israel, fr."
