Nehemiah 10

Gen Z: Nehemiah 10

1So, the squad that sealed it up were Nehemiah, the big boss, son of Hachaliah, and Zidkijah, no cap.

2Then there’s Seraiah, Azariah, Jeremiah, all part of the crew.

3Pashur, Amariah, Malchijah, just vibin’ with the rest.

4Hattush, Shebaniah, Malluch, they’re in the mix too.

5Harim, Meremoth, Obadiah, keeping it lit.

6Daniel, Ginnethon, Baruch, bringing that rizz.

7Meshullam, Abijah, Mijamin, all the homies right here.

8Maaziah, Bilgai, Shemaiah: these were the priests, fr.

9And the Levites: Jeshua, son of Azaniah, Binnui from Henadad, Kadmiel; they pop off.

10Plus their bros, Shebaniah, Hodijah, Kelita, Pelaiah, Hanan, just rolling deep.

11Micha, Rehob, Hashabiah, straight vibin' with the squad.

12Zaccur, Sherebiah, Shebaniah, all part of the crew, no cap.

13Hodijah, Bani, Beninu, just chillin’ and keepin' it real.

14The chief of the people; Parosh, Pahath–moab, Elam, Zatthu, Bani, poppin' off with the fam.

15Bunni, Azgad, Bebai, all lit in the lineup.

16Adonijah, Bigvai, Adin, rizzin' up the whole scene.

17Ater, Hizkijah, Azzur, straight up goated names.

18Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai, just flexin' their vibes.

19Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai, rollin' deep, periodt.

20Magpiash, Meshullam, Hezir, all the legends in one spot.

21Meshezabeel, Zadok, and Jaddua, just chillin' with the squad.

22Pelatiah, Hanan, and Anaiah, keeping it real.

23Hoshea, Hananiah, and Hashub, all vibin' together.

24Hallohesh, Pileha, and Shobek, just hanging out, no cap.

25Rehum, Hashabnah, and Maaseiah, part of the crew.

26And Ahijah, Hanan, and Anan, making it lit.

27Malluch, Harim, and Baanah, squad goals.

28The rest of the peeps, the priests, Levites, porters, singers, and all those who dipped from the land's vibes to follow God, with their fams, all in the know and understanding;

29They linked up with their homies, made a pact, and swore to roll with God's law, given by Moses, to keep all the commandments and vibes of the Lord, periodt.

30And that we wouldn’t give our daughters to the land's peeps, nor take their daughters for our sons: that's the move.

31If the locals roll up with goods or snacks on the Sabbath to sell, we ain't buying that on the holy day, no cap. We’re also gonna chill on debts every seventh year.

32We made some rules for ourselves, like dropping a third of a shekel yearly for the house of our God; that's just how we vibe.

33This is for the bread, the never-ending meat offerings, and the burnt offerings for Sabbaths, new moons, and all the holy stuff, fr.

34We threw lots for the priests, Levites, and peeps to bring wood for the house of our God, just like our fam used to do, yearly to keep the altar lit.

35We’re bringing the firstfruits of our crops and the firstfruits of all the trees to the Lord's house every year, periodt.

36Also, the firstborn of our kids and cattle, just like the law says, and the firstlings of our herds and flocks are going to our God’s house for the priests.

37We gotta bring the firstfruits of our dough, our offerings, and all the tree fruits, plus wine and oil to the priests in the house of our God; gotta give the tithes to the Levites too, so they can have their share in all our cities.

38The priest, Aaron's son, will be with the Levites when they collect tithes, and the Levites will bring the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the treasure chambers.

39The kids of Israel and Levi will bring corn, new wine, and oil to the chambers where the sanctuary vessels are, with the priests, porters, and singers; we ain't leaving the house of our God hanging.

18Hodijah, Hashum, Bezai,

19Hariph, Anathoth, Nebai,

24Hallohesh, Pileha, Shobek,

25Rehum, Hashabnah, Maaseiah,

26And Ahijah, Hanan, Anan,

27Malluch, Harim, Baanah.

28And the rest of the people, the priests, the Levites, the porters, the singers, the Nethinims, and all they that had separated themselves from the people of the lands unto the law of God, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, every one having knowledge, and having understanding;

29They clave to their brethren, their nobles, and entered into a curse, and into an oath, to walk in God’s law, which was given by Moses the servant of God, and to observe and do all the commandments of the Lord our Lord, and his judgments and his statutes;

30And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:

31And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

32Also we made ordinances for us, to charge ourselves yearly with the third part of a shekel for the service of the house of our God;

33For the shewbread, and for the continual meat offering, and for the continual burnt offering, of the sabbaths, of the new moons, for the set feasts, and for the holy things, and for the sin offerings to make an atonement for Israel, and for all the work of the house of our God.

34And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the Lord our God, as it is written in the law:

35And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the Lord:

36Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:

37And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

38And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

39For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.
