Gen Z: Leviticus 17
And the Lord was like, "Moses, listen up."
Tell Aaron and his fam, and all the Israelites, that this is what the Lord says, no cap.
If anyone from Israel vibes out and kills an ox, lamb, or goat in the camp or outside,
and doesn’t bring it to the tabernacle door to offer it to the Lord, then that person’s blood is on them; they’re cut off from the squad.
This is so the Israelites can bring their sacrifices, even the ones they do in the fields, to the Lord at the tabernacle door, to the priest for peace offerings.
The priest will sprinkle the blood on the altar at the tabernacle door and burn the fat for a sweet vibe to the Lord.
No more sacrifices to devils, since they’ve been acting sus. This is a forever rule for them.
And tell them, whoever from Israel or the strangers chilling with you offers a burnt offering,
but doesn’t bring it to the tabernacle door to offer it to the Lord, that person’s cut off from the crew.
And whoever from Israel or the strangers among you eats blood, I’m coming for that soul; they’re cut off from the fam.
The life of the flesh is in the blood, and I gave it to you on the altar to atone for your souls; the blood is what makes it lit.
So I told the Israelites, no one should eat blood, and neither should any stranger hanging out with you.
Whoever from Israel or the strangers hunting any beast or bird to eat must pour out the blood and cover it with dust, periodt.
Because the blood is life; that’s why I said to the Israelites, don’t eat blood from any flesh; whoever does is cut off.
And anyone who eats something that died on its own or was torn by beasts, whether it’s a homie or a stranger, must wash their clothes, bathe in water, and be unclean until evening; then they’re good.
But if they don’t wash or bathe, they’ll carry their guilt, fr.
