Gen Z: Job 28
For sure, there's a spot for silver, and a place where they get that gold, no cap.
They pull iron straight from the earth, and brass gets all melted down from the stone, fr.
He shuts down the darkness and hunts for all that perfection: the stones of darkness and the shadow of death, periodt.
The flood just breaks out from the people; even the waters forgotten by feet are dried up, they ghosted away from humans.
The earth be giving bread, and under it’s like fire is lit, no cap.
The stones here are where the sapphires chill, and there's dust of gold, that’s bussin.
There’s a path that no bird knows, and the vulture’s eye hasn’t peeped it, sus.
The lion’s cubs didn’t step here, and even the fierce lion didn’t roll through, lit.
He’s putting his hand on the rock; he flips the mountains like they’re nothing, savage.
He carves out rivers in the rocks; his eye sees every precious thing, goated.
He stops the floods from going wild; and the secrets? They come to light, no cap.
But fr, where's wisdom at? Like, where’s the spot for understanding?
No one knows the cost of that vibe; it ain’t found in this life, periodt.
The deep's like, "Not here," and the sea's like, "Not with me."
You can’t cop it with gold, and silver ain’t enough for that price, bet.
It can't be matched with Ophir's gold, or those fancy stones like onyx and sapphire.
Gold and crystal can’t even compare; you can’t trade it for fine jewels, fr.
No one’s even talking about coral or pearls; wisdom's worth way more than rubies.
The topaz from Ethiopia? Nah, it can’t compare, and it ain't worth pure gold either.
So where does wisdom come from? Like, what’s the spot for understanding?
It's lowkey hidden from everyone and kept on the down-low from the birds, no cap.
Destruction and death are like, "We've heard the hype about it, fr."
God knows the vibes and understands the whole situation, periodt.
He checks out the ends of the earth and sees everything under the sky, lit.
He’s out here weighing the winds and measuring the waters, that’s goated.
When he set the rules for rain and mapped out the lightning, savage moves.
Then he peeped it and called it out; he got it ready and searched it out, bet.
And to humans he said, "Yo, the fear of the Lord is wisdom; staying away from evil is real understanding."
