Gen Z: Job 24
Why are peeps who know the Almighty not vibing with his days? Like, fr?
Some be moving the boundaries, taking flocks like it’s nothing, and just feeding off that.
They kick the fatherless' donkey to the curb and snatch the widow’s ox for a quick loan.
They straight up push the needy outta the way; the poor be hiding together, no cap.
Check it, wild donkeys in the desert are just vibing, hustling for food; the wilderness feeds them and their kids.
They’re out here reaping their corn in the fields and gathering the harvest of the wicked, no cap.
They leave the naked out here, no drip, so they freeze in the cold.
They get soaked from the mountain rains and hug the rocks for a little shelter, sus.
They snatch the fatherless from their moms and take from the poor, that’s savage.
They send him out naked, no clothes, and take food from the hungry, fr.
They make oil in their homes and stomp grapes in their winepresses, but still thirsty.
Men be groaning from the city, and the wounded are crying out; yet God ain't trippin.
They’re the ones who rebel against the light; they don’t know the vibes or follow the paths.
The murderer, rising with the light, takes out the poor and needy, like a thief in the night.
The eye of the cheater waits for twilight, thinking, “No one’s gonna see me,” and masks up.
In the dark, they dig through houses they scoped out during the day; they don’t know about the light.
For them, morning feels like the shadow of death; if you know them, it’s all terror vibes.
He’s as quick as water; their lot is cursed on earth; he doesn’t see the vineyard vibes.
Drought and heat are consuming the snow waters; the grave does the same to those who sin, fr.
The womb will forget him; worms will feast on him; he won’t be remembered; wickedness will break like a tree.
He treats the barren badly and does nothing good for the widow, that’s just messed up.
He pulls the strong with his power; he rises up, and no one’s sure about life, periodt.
Even if he’s safe, resting easy; his eyes are still on their ways, sus.
They get hype for a minute, then they’re gone and brought low; they’re taken out like corn tops, no cap.
And if it ain't like that now, who’s gonna call me a liar and make my words worthless?
