Gen Z: Isaiah 2
Isaiah, son of Amoz, had a vision about Judah and Jerusalem. Vibes check.
In the last days, the Lord's house is gonna be the ultimate spot, standing tall above all the mountains; all nations gonna roll up to it.
Many people gonna be like, "Yo, let’s hit up the Lord’s mountain, the house of Jacob's God; He’ll school us on His ways, and we’ll vibe with His paths, 'cause the law and the word of the Lord gonna come from Jerusalem."
He gonna judge the nations and call out the people; they’ll turn their swords into plows and stop the war vibes.
Yo, house of Jacob, let’s walk in the light of the Lord.
But you’ve ghosted your people, the house of Jacob, 'cause they’re all about that east coast hustle, acting sus like the Philistines, vibing with strangers.
Their land is stacked with silver and gold, treasure for days; it’s also got mad horses and chariots, no cap.
Their land is full of idols; they worship their own creations, straight up flexing.
The average Joe bows down, and the big shots humble themselves; so don’t even bother forgiving them.
Dip into the rocks and hide in the dust, 'cause the Lord’s glory is no joke.
The proud gonna be humbled, and the Lord alone gonna be the GOAT that day.
The day of the Lord is coming for everyone who’s all high and mighty; they gonna be brought low, fr.
That includes all the tall cedars of Lebanon and the big oaks of Bashan.
All the high mountains and hills that think they’re hot stuff too.
Every tall tower and fenced wall gonna get the same treatment.
All the ships of Tarshish and the chill vibes of pretty pictures gonna be brought down.
The pride of man gonna be humbled, and only the Lord gonna be lit that day.
And all those idols? Yeah, they gonna be straight up canceled.
They gonna hide in the rocks and caves, scared of the Lord’s glory when He shakes the earth like crazy.
That day, people gonna toss their silver and gold idols, made for their own worship, to the moles and bats.
They’ll be diving into the rock crevices and high spots, scared of the Lord's glory when He shakes the earth.
Chill with the humans, whose breath is just a puff; what’s the point of stressing over them?
