Gen Z: Hosea 8
Blare that trumpet, fam. God’s swooping in like an eagle on the Lord's crib 'cause they broke the rules, no cap.
Israel's out here like, "Yo, God, we see you."
Israel ditched the good vibes; the enemy's coming for them, fr.
They got kings set up, but not with my approval: made idols from their cash, that’s just sus.
Your calf, Samaria, is ghosting you; I'm heated about it: how long till they act innocent?
That calf ain't even from God; some dude made it, and it’s about to get wrecked, periodt.
They planted the wind, now they’re catching a storm: no growth here, just empty vibes.
Israel's getting swallowed up; they’re just chilling with the Gentiles like a useless vessel.
They bounced to Assyria, a lone wolf out here: Ephraim's out here chasing after lovers.
Even though they’re vibing with the nations, I’ll scoop them up, and they’ll feel the weight of the king’s drama.
Ephraim's stacked altars for sin, so those altars are just trouble for him.
I dropped some serious law knowledge on him, but they treated it like it was weird, fr.
They’re grilling meat for offerings, but God ain't feeling it; He’ll remember their wrongs and send them back to Egypt.
Israel forgot their Creator and built temples; Judah's stacking cities, but I'm about to light up their towns and burn down their palaces, no cap.
