Hebrews 1

Gen Z: Hebrews 1

1God used to vibe with the fam through the prophets in all kinds of ways back in the day.

2But now, in these last days, He’s speaking to us through His Son, who’s the heir of everything and created the whole universe, no cap.

3This dude is the glow-up of His glory, the ultimate image of God, holding everything down with His power, and after cleaning up our mess, He’s chillin’ at the right hand of the Majestic One.

4He’s way better than the angels, straight up inherited a name that’s just more lit than theirs.

5Which angel did God ever say, "You’re my Son, I just birthed you today"? And He also said, "I’ll be your Dad, and you’ll be my Son"?

6And when He brings His firstborn into the world, He’s like, "All the angels better worship Him, fr."

7And about the angels, He’s like, "He makes them vibes, and His servants are lit like fire."

8But to the Son, He’s saying, "Your throne, God, is forever; your scepter of righteousness is the real deal for your kingdom."

9You’ve loved what’s right and hated what’s sus; that’s why God, your God, has anointed you with joy above your crew.

10And, Lord, you kicked off the earth from the start; the heavens are all your handiwork, no cap.

11They’ll fade away, but you stay the same; they’ll get old like a worn-out fit.

12You’ll fold them up like a blanket, and they’ll change, but you’re still the same, and your years won’t quit.

13But which angel did He ever say, "Chill at my right hand until I make your enemies your footstool"?

14Aren’t they all just serving spirits sent to help those who are gonna inherit salvation?

KJV: Hebrews 1

1God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

2Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

3Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

4Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

5For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.

7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.

8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows.

10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;

12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?

14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
