Gen Z: Ezekiel 11
The Spirit scooped me up and brought me to the east gate of the Lord’s house, looking east, and I saw 25 dudes chilling at the gate; one was Jaazaniah, son of Azur, and another was Pelatiah, son of Benaiah, total rizz.
Then He said to me, "Yo, these are the guys plotting chaos and dropping sus advice in this city."
They’re like, “It’s not happening soon; let’s build houses, this city is the pot, and we’re the meat.”
So, prophesy against them, son of man, pop off.
The Spirit of the Lord hit me, and said, "Speak; here’s the deal from the Lord: I see all your thoughts, no cap."
You’ve stacked up bodies in this city, filling the streets with them, straight savage.
So, the Lord God says: Your slain are the meat in this pot, but I’m gonna bring you outta the middle of it.
You’ve been scared of the sword; I’m bringing a sword your way, says the Lord God.
I’ll pull you out of there and hand you over to strangers, and I’ll drop some judgments on you.
You’ll fall by the sword; I’ll judge you at Israel’s border; you’ll know I’m the Lord, periodt.
This city ain’t gonna be your pot, and you won’t be the meat in it; I’ll judge you at Israel’s border.
You’ll know I’m the Lord; you haven’t followed my rules or done my judgments, just vibing like the heathens around you.
When I prophesied, Pelatiah, son of Benaiah, straight up died. I fell on my face and cried out, “Ah Lord God! You gonna wipe out the remnant of Israel?”
Then the word of the Lord came to me again, saying,
"Son of man, your bros, your fam, and all the house of Israel are the ones the people of Jerusalem said, ‘Stay away from the Lord; this land is ours to keep.’"
So say this: The Lord God says, "Even though I tossed them far away among the heathens and scattered them, I’ll still be like a little sanctuary for them wherever they go."
So say this: The Lord God says, "I’ll gather you from the people and bring you together from the lands you’ve been scattered, and I’ll give you Israel."
They’ll come there and ditch all the nasty stuff and abominations from there.
I’ll give them one heart and a new spirit; I’ll take out their stony hearts and give them hearts of flesh, fr.
So they can vibe with my rules, keep my ordinances, and do them; they’ll be my people, and I’ll be their God.
But for those whose hearts chase after their nasty stuff and abominations, I’ll pay them back, says the Lord God.
Then the cherubim lifted their wings, and the wheels next to them; the glory of the God of Israel was over them, lit.
The glory of the Lord rose up from the city and stood on the mountain east of the city.
Then the Spirit took me up and showed me a vision of Chaldea, to those in captivity. The vision I had seen left me.
Then I told the captives everything the Lord had shown me, no cap.
