2 Timothy 4

Gen Z: 2 Timothy 4

1Yo, I'm calling you out in front of God and Jesus, who’s gonna judge the living and the dead when He shows up and flexes His kingdom;

2Preach the vibes, be ready all the time; correct, call out, and encourage with patience and truth, fr.

3A time’s coming when peeps won’t wanna hear real talk; they'll just wanna vibe with teachers who tickle their ears, no cap.

4They’re gonna tune out the truth and get lost in stories that don’t even hit.

5But stay woke in everything, handle your struggles, do the evangelist grind, and show you’re legit in your ministry.

6I’m ready to be offered up, and my exit is coming up, periodt.

7I’ve fought the good fight, finished my race, and kept the faith, no cap.

8Now there’s a righteous crown waiting for me, which the Lord, the ultimate judge, will hand over that day; and not just for me, but for everyone who loves His glow-up.

9Do what you gotta do to roll up to me soon.

10Demas dipped on me ‘cause he loved this world too much, and now he’s chilling in Thessalonica; Crescens bounced to Galatia, and Titus is in Dalmatia.

11Only Luke's still riding with me. Bring Mark along; he’s a real asset for the ministry.

12I sent Tychicus to Ephesus, no cap.

13Bring the cloak I left at Troas with Carpus when you come through, and don’t forget the books, especially the parchments, they’re bussin.

14Alexander the coppersmith did me dirty; may the Lord pay him back for his actions, fr.

15Be careful of him too; he’s been a savage against our words.

16At my first defense, nobody had my back; everyone ghosted me. I pray God doesn’t hold that against them.

17But the Lord was right there with me, giving me strength; so the preaching went hard, and all the Gentiles got to hear it; I got saved from the lion’s mouth, no cap.

18The Lord will save me from every evil vibe and keep me safe in His heavenly kingdom; to Him be glory forever and ever. Amen.

19Say what’s up to Prisca and Aquila, and the fam of Onesiphorus.

20Erastus is chilling in Corinth, but I left Trophimus sick in Miletum.

21Do your best to get here before winter. Eubulus, Pudens, Linus, Claudia, and all the crew say hi.

22May the Lord Jesus Christ vibe with your spirit. Grace is with you. Amen. This second letter to Timotheus, the first bishop of the Ephesians, was written from Rome when Paul faced Nero for the second time.

KJV: 2 Timothy 4

1I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.

3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;

4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

5But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

6For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

7I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

8Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

9Do thy diligence to come shortly unto me:

10For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.

11Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.

12And Tychicus have I sent to Ephesus.

13The cloke that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee, and the books, but especially the parchments.

14Alexander the coppersmith did me much evil: the Lord reward him according to his works:

15Of whom be thou ware also; for he hath greatly withstood our words.

16At my first answer no man stood with me, but all men forsook me: I pray God that it may not be laid to their charge.

17Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

18And the Lord shall deliver me from every evil work, and will preserve me unto his heavenly kingdom: to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

19Salute Prisca and Aquila, and the household of Onesiphorus.

20Erastus abode at Corinth: but Trophimus have I left at Miletum sick.

21Do thy diligence to come before winter. Eubulus greeteth thee, and Pudens, and Linus, and Claudia, and all the brethren.

22The Lord Jesus Christ be with thy spirit. Grace be with you. Amen. The second epistle unto Timotheus, ordained the first bishop of the church of the Ephesians, was written from Rome, when Paul was brought before Nero the second time.
