Gen Z: 2 Chronicles 5
So all the work that Solomon did for the Lord's house was totally done: and Solomon brought in all the stuff that his dad David dedicated; the silver, the gold, and all the gear, he put among the treasures of God's house.
Then Solomon gathered the elders of Israel, and all the tribe heads, the main dudes of the fams of Israel, to Jerusalem, to bring the ark of the covenant of the Lord outta the city of David, which is Zion.
So all the guys of Israel gathered to the king for the feast in the seventh month.
And all the elders of Israel showed up; and the Levites picked up the ark.
They brought up the ark, and the tabernacle, and all the holy stuff that was in the tabernacle, and the priests and Levites brought it all up.
Also King Solomon, and all the crew of Israel that were with him before the ark, sacrificed so many sheep and oxen, you couldn’t even count them, no cap.
And the priests brought in the ark of the Lord’s covenant to its spot, to the oracle of the house, in the most holy place, right under the wings of the cherubims.
For the cherubims spread their wings over the ark, covering it and the poles above.
They pulled out the poles of the ark, so the ends were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they weren’t seen outside. And it’s still like that today.
There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets that Moses put there at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the fam of Israel when they bounced outta Egypt.
And it happened, when the priests came outta the holy place: (for all the priests that were there were sanctified, and didn’t wait by course:
Also the Levites who were the singers, all of them from Asaph, Heman, and Jeduthun, with their kids and bros, dressed in white linen, with cymbals and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, with a hundred and twenty priests blowing trumpets:)
It even happened, as the trumpeters and singers were vibin' as one, to make one sound to praise and thank the Lord; and when they lifted their voices with the trumpets and cymbals and music, and praised the Lord, saying, "For He is good; His mercy endures forever:" the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
So the priests couldn’t stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.
