Gen Z: 2 Chronicles 19
So Jehoshaphat, the king of Judah, rolled back home in peace to Jerusalem. Vibes.
Jehu, the son of Hanani the seer, pulled up to him and was like, "You really gonna help the sus ones and love those who hate the Lord? That's why the Lord's got wrath on you, no cap."
But for real, there are some good things about you, 'cause you got rid of the groves and prepped your heart to seek God. Lit.
Jehoshaphat stayed in Jerusalem, and he went out again through the people from Beer-sheba to mount Ephraim, bringing them back to the Lord God of their fams.
He set judges in all the cities of Judah, city by city, fr.
He told the judges, "Yo, watch what you do: you ain't judging for man, but for the Lord, who’s got your back in judgment."
So now, let the fear of the Lord be on you; be careful and do it: there's no sketchiness with our God, no favoritism, and no accepting gifts.
Plus, in Jerusalem, Jehoshaphat set up the Levites, priests, and heads of Israel for the Lord's judgment and disputes when they came back to Jerusalem.
He told them, "This is how you should roll in the fear of the Lord, faithfully, and with a perfect heart. Periodt."
And whatever case comes to you from your peeps living in their cities, whether it's blood or law stuff, you gotta warn them not to mess up against the Lord, or else wrath will come on you and your fam: do this, and you won't mess up.
And check it, Amariah the chief priest is over you in all Lord matters; Zebadiah, son of Ishmael, is ruling the house of Judah for all the king’s things: the Levites will be your officers. Be bold, and the Lord will be with the good.
