5They’re from the world, so they just talk that world talk, and the world’s down to listen.

6We’re from God; if someone knows God, they hear us; if they don’t, they’re not vibing with us. This is how we know the spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

7Yo fam, let’s love each other, ‘cause love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.

8If you don’t love, you don’t know God, ‘cause God is love, periodt.

9This is how God’s love showed up for us: He sent His only Son into the world so we could live through Him.

10Love is this: not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to cover our mess.

11Yo fam, if God loved us this much, we gotta love each other too.

12No one’s seen God ever, but if we love each other, God’s chilling in us, and His love is made lit in us.

13This is how we know we’re in Him and He’s in us, ‘cause He gave us His Spirit.

14We’ve seen and are here to tell you that the Father sent the Son to save the world, no cap.

15Whoever vibes with the truth that Jesus is the Son of God, God’s in them, and they’re in God.

16We know and believe the love God has for us. God is love; if you’re living in love, you’re living in God, and God is in you.

17This is how our love gets to the next level, so we can be bold on judgment day: as He is, so are we in this world.

18There’s no fear in love; perfect love kicks fear out the door, ‘cause fear is a whole vibe of torment. If you’re scared, you’re not vibing with love yet.

20If someone says, “I love God,” but hates their brother, they’re capping; if you can’t love your bro you can see, how can you love God you can’t see?

21And this is the command we got from Him: if you love God, you gotta love your brother too.

21And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
